Outdoor or indoor pickleballs?
Outdoor pickleballs have around 40 smaller holes and are made of harder, heavier plastic, so they hold their line in the wind and stand up to rough court surfaces. Indoor balls usually have 26 larger holes and a softer shell, which gives a slower, more controllable bounce on gym floors. If you are not sure where the balls will be used, choose outdoor balls: most recreational play in the US happens outside.
Color matters for play, not just for branding. Yellow and optic green are the easiest to see against most courts, while white and orange suit some indoor venues. Your logo is printed in one or more spot colors on the ball, so pick a ball color that gives your logo enough contrast.
How custom pickleballs are used
Branded balls go in tournament welcome bags, get handed out at sponsor booths, fill court-side bins at clubs and are packed into gift sets with custom paddles. Because the unit price is low, they are an easy add-on to a larger order, and many buyers order a case of balls with every paddle program.
Decoration options for pickleballs
Custom pickleballs can be decorated with screen printing, pad printing, full-color digital printing and laser engraving. Screen printing lays down bold, durable spot colors and is the most economical option for one or two color logos on larger runs. Pad printing transfers a spot-color logo onto curved surfaces like pickleballs and small accessories. Full-color digital printing reproduces photos, gradients and multicolor logos with no extra charge per color, and it is the usual method for printing the full face of a paddle.

Does a printed logo affect how the ball plays?
No. The logo is a thin layer of ink printed on the surface of the shell, so it does not change the weight, bounce or flight of the ball in any way players notice.
Will the logo wear off?
Pickleballs are hit hard against paddles and court surfaces, so any print will show wear over many games, like the manufacturer's own markings. For giveaways and display that rarely matters; for heavy league play, expect the logo to fade before the ball cracks.
